Why will no one answer questions?

They just like arguing with everyone. No one will even halfway answer a direct question on here. They love to spout psychological crap and tell you what not to do. But if someone asks a question on how to do something (not illegal or harmful, obviously), they don't want a bunch of useless answers on why they shouldn't do it, especially if those answers are condescending (which they usually are). Why are people so incapable of reading a question, understanding it, and replying with helpful advice that directly answers the question? Instead they just say whatever they want, just to hear themselves talk and put other people down. Telling someone that you know what's best for them, or that they shouldn't do something they'd like to do, is another form of putting them down, and it's arrogant. If you're reading this, go look over your answers to other questions and see if you actually answered any of them, or if you spent over 95% of your time arguing with people who had honest questions and just wanted advice on how accomplish certain goals.
