Keep PSP 2000 or Buy PSP 3000?

I want to get the Kingdom Hearts PSP Bundle. It has the PSP 3000, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, and a 4 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. Although I already have a PSP 2000. But the thing is it doesn't have a battery. I know I can buy one at Gamestop but I have this problem where I like to keep things perfect. I want to play Kingdom Hearts BBS on a new PSP.
