About NFL playoffs + wildcard?

My question concerns who makes it to the playoffs. I know that the two conference champs make it to the playoffs. For instance, the Saints and Colts are both undefeated right now, so they would be the Wildcard champs right? If that is correct, does that mean the division leader below those two teams comes in as the division champs instead of them, because they are wildcard already? Thanks.
