I am pretty sure somone I know has saved my profile under their favorites and is watching all of my posts. They dont answer or anything, but they watch. i smoked for about ten years. for the last year of that period i smoked a brand of rolling tobacco that contained no additives. i decided to stop and got a prescription for some nicotine patches. i stopped smoking and started the patches. one week later i decided to stop using the patches to see how i felt. i felt no urge what so ever to smoke again. thus i conclude it is the additives in most tobacco products that are addictive and that if you wish to cease smoking tobacco the best thing to do is to change brands to one that contains no additives, give it a year then stop smoking completely. there may not be much in the way of scientific proof of this theory, but then again tobacco makes a lot of money in sales and taxes and off-shoots like pharmaceutical treatments for lung and throat cancer. death by tobacco also keeps the global population down. if you are a smoker wanting to quit and you don't believe my (worked for me) theory then why not try it for yourself?

I started this BC a month and 24 days ago. I started spotting about 2 or 3 weeks in and I am still spotting. Why wont it stop. Should it stop after my 3rd month? This is my very first BC. I got on it for the pain and as a just in case method. And as far as the pain goes there's almost none. An occasional cramp every now and then but its barely painful. Thank goodness. The Spotting is kind of worrying me though.

He's not a baby. He'll be alright. He'll be more thankful that you're getting your finances on track, helping his father come home, and maintaining your marriage. He's almost an adult, he'll see where you are coming from with that. If he is with a trusted friend, then there should not be a problem. You need to do what you feel is best for you and your family. He doesn't seem to have any real reasons for opposing this. Thinking you just want to get some California friends is clearly irrational. I think he more than likely simply feels inadequate and defeated and emasculated that you're having to do this to support the family. Is it legal for a floor manager/bouncer to demand money from waitresses at the end of their shifts?

I work in a small private bar with a very small staff. Recently, there was a change with the head waitress being fired and the bouncer taking over as floor and waitress manager. The only thing he has to do is write a very basic schedule for four people and make sure we have completed our tasks at the end of the night. Now he is demanding that every waitress should give him a "manager fee" of five dollars each. Is this even legal? The average tips per waitress even on weekends are not usually over 75 dollars. And the "manager" is not helping wait tables, clean, or any other of the waitress job duties so I would not think that tip pooling applies in this situation. Can I legally hold them accountable for this?

HELP with ROTC or National Guard!!!!?

I am suppose to leave late september for basic training. I am currently in the Florida army national guard. A school in new york has since talked to me about contracting with their ROTC program before I ship to Basic and that contract will allow me not to go to basic. I am not trying to get out of gong to basic and AIT I just think the ROTC program is better for me in the long run. My question is...is it possible for me to contract with ROTC before i ship out for basic and not have to go to basic even though the school I am attending is out of state? The ROTC director said he can get me in and my RSP drill sgt said I should wait til after basic and AIT. Thats 2 1/2 semesters of school I would be missing doing that route. I am thinking he is just saying that so it looks better for him if i ship out to basic... Any thoughts? And if i do the ROTC without going to basic can i still do the SMP program?

How do I deal with intolerable work conditions until I can find another job?

For the last year or two, we have had a lot of lay offs and big changes. While I am thankful I have a job, working at this company has become unbearable. There is alot of bickering amongst other coworkers and management is doing nothing about this. They have made it clear that they do not care if the employees are unhappy. They don't have time to deal with it. A few months ago, they put this power tripping, racist jerk as one of the leads. This guy does not know how to do anything on the bench. But he sure knows how to kiss a**. The manager loves him and takes his side on everything. This guy knows that, so he is power tripping. If we don't respect and obey him, he threatens to tell the maneger. If he doesn't like someone, he treats that person badly. Over half the lab has threatened to quit or find another job if this continues. The maneger doesn't care. This guy favors people of his own race. There is no point in filing a complaint with human resources or the maneger, because they always take his side. Since I am helpless to do anything about this, I have started looking for other employment. I cannot take it here anymore! I am trying to hang in there as this workplace abuse continues, but I am loosing it. I need a job, which is why I have not just walked out. But, I don't know how much more I can take. Our baby is 6 months old and my husband and I are having serious relationship problems. We used to be so happy, I just don't understand how it could have come to this. Things got so bad a couple of weeks ago and I felt so tired from the pressures of doing it all on my own, I decided to leave with my baby and stay at my parents for a few days. I wanted to give my husband some space to decide if this family life is really what he wants because he just doesn't seem happy anymore - he is particularly unhappy with me and our relationship it seems and is constantly stressed. After some talking, we worked things out and I came home. Things were great for a while. He was helpful, happy and attentive and hardly put the baby down, but then a week later, he was back to his usual moody self. We're back where we started and I'm out of ideas. It breaks my heart because we used to be really happy and it breaks my heart even more when he complains about the baby crying or compares her to other babies who are supposedly better at sleeping at night or whatever. I just feel like he doesn't appreciate the life we have and or beautiful little girl and I just don't know what to do. I am starting to question the point in our relationship because I don't get anything from it right now and there are more times at the minute where I feel like I would find it easier and I would be happier on my own because there wouldn't be this stress. It's tough to say - it really may depend on the college. I tought biology at a very large CC. I have my master's (minimum requirement), but they would only allow me to be an adjunct professor; only PhDs received tenure. Smaller colleges may allow you to teach if you have a certain number of years experience in the field. The university I attended allowed people to teach part time if they had 8 years experience in their field. That being said, I don't know if they ever hired anyone with those credentials because everyone had their master's. I would call the college and ask them about their requirements.

Heat pump coils covered in ice, including a couple of inches into the fan blades...?

The fan sounded like it was still running this morning but wasn't because the blades are "iced into" the ice on the inside of the coils. I turned to emergency heat and coils are still ice covered tonight. It's below freezing right now so not too excited about hosing down the coils. Will it harm the unit to run while fan blades are frozen solid? What options do I have here? Suicidal Thoughts *Help Please*?

I feel that death is my only way out of all the poor decision making I've made in my adolescent years. Growing up was very unique and gifted and could have not asked for better, had the best of friends! At the age of 14 I started playing videogames which got me hooked very quickly. One particular game stood out from the rest "World of Warcraft". My grades started dropping rapidly, I eventually dropped out of school with plans to get my G.E.D which never happened. I pushed all my friends out of my life and locked myself into my room. With very little sleep and starvation, I was heading nowhere good in life. Addiction Is the worst thing to face weither it be narcotics or in my case videogames. Four years have ped and I've accomplished nothing that is gonna help me succeed in life. I have no education and no job history. I'm full of remorse, not knowing what to do to get myself on track again. My mothers significant other is threatening to kick me out. With no job history and being unemployed, I don't know what to do. My mother is full of sorrow and I'm not the same angel she once raised. I'm now 19 years old and feeling very overwhelmed and depressed. Hearing from my mother that my birth was a mistake and a accident only builds up my depression and hatred towards myself. I don't deserve life, trying to adapt to life is very hard after being locked up inside a room for 4 years. With very little education and barely remembering basic math, I'm scared for myself. I have no one to blame but myself for the actions I've made. To wrap this up I just wanna let all you parents out there know that you guys should really take a look at the conditions of your kids if they play videogames. Minecraft save game problem?

I have been playing minecraft single player for a while now, but not to long ago i paused the game and came back in the room to see my computer on bluescreen. I rebooted my computer and everything still worked. But a couple of days later I tried to run minecraft and it seems to make new worlds, but when I try to run that same savegame it takes forever on the Building terrain screen. Then after that it takes forever to load the blocks, and it basically just goes nonresponsive. I never can even get my character to move.

But what similarities do these two languages have in common? I mean if their syntax/vocabulary/grammar/phonetics are similar in some ways. I know that English and Spanish share lots of words derived from Latin, but Latin is not their common ancestor, right? I just asked a question..somewhat related and I forgot that when you ask a question about yourself personally, only people who know you or get you somehow can give you accurate perspective so heres another take..As a Christian, I know that Jesus will forgive my sins but there is a but involved. You can't just do the same thing over and over again and just keep asking for forgiveness, you have to actively try to resist temptation. So as a Christian, what is sin in specific situations? Is going out to night clubs or bars sinning even when you know that you won't end up doing something really stupid ( with a stranger etc?) You still dress and dance provocatively and make other people want you in that way. But we are lustful creatures at the same time. Drinking but in in a controlled situation? And if drinking is ok, then why are drugs so bad (Don't get into the legality of it, simply the drugs itself?)

sweetheart, i dont mean to be rude, but you're a little young to have a serious relationship and be in "love." I know that you probably really really like him (call it love if you'd like..) but you both are very young, and its hard to have a serious, non-dramatic "relationship" when you both arent totally mature (Im not saying your immature, I mean it in a more mental way of being ready to handle issues of a relationship) People that are older can deal with the issues without ignoring people and breaking up over a little fight. Its not something you can help because it comes with age. Boys mature slower than girls, so chances are, he's going to keep acting immature and running away. Try to get your feelings out, and explain how he is acting and how it is upsetting you. If it doesnt work, move on. Dont dwell on him, because if he's acting like a jerk he's not worth your time. You have plenty of time to find someone special and someone you truly love. I hope everything works out for the best hun.

If you feel nauseous you need to tell your doctor and tell them to put you on another ADHD medication. Personally i have ADHD and i hate the way the meds make me feel so i refuse to take them but, when i do i take the Daytrana Patch. TTC. I need a little hope for BFP.?

Hubby and I are TTC after our first ended in a miscarriage a few months ago...now im super sensitive to the topic and worry about every little thing...I was hoping you all can read the scoop and let me know if I still have hope...We checked my "O" day and tried every other day leading up to "o" day and then a few after to make sure :) Im at 11 dpo, and i have had nausea, headaches, light cramps and a runny/stuffy nose at very odd times of the day, i would wake up in the middle of the night with one. I have also had dreams of BFP and woke up thinking for sure this is the month, but with the cramps im not so sure. I have also had sore BBs but someone suggested i could be wanting it so much that I have made myself feel the syptoms...Any one have any advice? I did a HPT at 8 dpo, but it was BFN. Im sure it was too early but i have little patience and hope left.. Would like to know if anyone else is or has been in the same boat and got their BFP all the same. Thanks to all!

Abnormal period and I have had enough! Could you please point me in the right direction?

I have had 3 pregnancies in the past. My first I carried to 35 weeks and all went fine. I returned to health fairly quickly (or my sort of health). I then got pregnant again within 3 months but unfortunately due to complications had no choice but to abort which destroyed me. Then I got pregnant again in 2007. With each pregnancy I have had an illness called Hyperemisis which is sever sickness and I was in hospital most weeks. Luckily I was already in hospital when I gave birth the 2nd time round because he was nearly 3 months premature. He is doing fine and is now 14 months old. However, I have never returned to full health. I have a history of aneamia so that's nothing new but my periods haven't been the same since Ihad my second son. After the delivery the doctors were very concerned as my heart rate rocketed and I lost a huge amount of blood but with my fear of needles ruling my thoughts I wouldn't allow them to do a blood transfusion. The nurses were also concerned that they hadn't gotten all of the placenta out of me and wanted to give me an injection to help it come out but again I said no because of my huge phobia. (Yes I know this is stupid). Ever since then my periods have always been late, never liek clockwork so I just have to wait for them to show up. I am also getting more pains now but always on the right side of my stomach. I actually get symptoms of periods now like moodiness and being emotional and getting hungry and getting really hot, I never had this before ever. The thing that is concerning me the most though and that I am tired of is the huge tennis ball sized lumps that I keep getting and I would stake my life on the fact that tehy are not just blood clots. I saw the placenta, I know what it looked like and these things that I keep getting look exactly the same. When I get them I also get the pushy feeling you do with pregnancy and it's making life a misery because it feels like I need to push it out all the time and it's so uncomfortable. I have no idea what's going on and I am sick of not knowing what is going on with my body, I just feel so out of tune with myself and I hate it. Any suggestions please?

When you appeal a violation, it is reviewed by an actual human. Whether the question/answer is restored or not is then in that person's hands. The guidelines are pretty broad and non-specific, so pretty much EVERYTHING could be considered a violation, if that's the outcome that the reviewer is looking for.

Why will no one answer questions?

They just like arguing with everyone. No one will even halfway answer a direct question on here. They love to spout psychological crap and tell you what not to do. But if someone asks a question on how to do something (not illegal or harmful, obviously), they don't want a bunch of useless answers on why they shouldn't do it, especially if those answers are condescending (which they usually are). Why are people so incapable of reading a question, understanding it, and replying with helpful advice that directly answers the question? Instead they just say whatever they want, just to hear themselves talk and put other people down. Telling someone that you know what's best for them, or that they shouldn't do something they'd like to do, is another form of putting them down, and it's arrogant. If you're reading this, go look over your answers to other questions and see if you actually answered any of them, or if you spent over 95% of your time arguing with people who had honest questions and just wanted advice on how accomplish certain goals.

Don't you have one of those things on the door so you can open it a bit and see who's there before you really open the door? You're right to be cautious because after all, anyone can say they're the fire department from behind a closed door. But once I knew it really was a fireman, I don't think I'd be asking why they need to come in. Firemen don't ask to come into people's apartments just to check out how they're decorated.

I'm smart, I wanna go to school but I'm here illegally/don't have money for school and starting to feel lost?

Me, my dad and my mom came to Cali in 2003 (from Europe) to visit my brother for 6 months. Long story short, we didn't go back and my parents started fighting. They fought for 4 years every day under the same roof until it got way too bad and I had to go to court to choose between them. I chose my dad and now everything is fine and peaceful. But what still remains is I'm here illegally and don't have much money for school. I live with my dad and brother. My dad is illegally here too. My brother isn't. I visit my mom every week and she's here illegally too. So they screwed me over. Now, my future is in jeopardy and I'm starting to feel confused/lost/worried. I always have, ever since they started fighting, but now it's at its peak. I just don't know what to do. I would like to go to a UC school or at least Cal State but I don't have the money and I'm not here legally. I don't know whether to pay the 30 bucks to take the SAT, I don't know if I should try so hard in school. I just don't know. My whole life is ****** up now because they just didn't decide to go back. Why? Why did they do this? Goddamn it, I wanna go to college or university, I have good grades, but theres this GIANT thing blocking me from it. How can I come to terms with being alone for the rest of my life?

I think its time i accepted that as a real possibility. Im a great person, but thats it. I have good qualities, im funny, sweet, quite intelligent and fun to be around but not very god looking and a bit fat. the thing is, although i have some good qualities there are plenty of people who are better. so i dont blame women for choosing the better option. im a real candidate for dying alone, unnatractive, shy, a little wierd and generally unlucky. there are, sadly, many people who die alone. 20% of people in the uk dont ever get married. now some of them will be like that by choice, some will be disabled severly, some will lve with a partner but never marry them but i think a lot will be guys like me, guys who either never tried to find love or guys who tried their best but their best wasnt good enough. i intend to try my best to find love, online, thoguh friends and ill be as social as possible and see relationship councillors and escorts and maybe order a thai bride, anything but if all that fails, how can i come to terms with living a life alone. i know ill have friends, and i could maybe adopt children (i love kids), but its not the same as actually falling in love and having someone love you back. im not sure i would want to live without a wife

I can tell you what would happen if you were leaving from the States. The airline would scan your pport and then refuse to let you board the airplane. If in Canada, they do let you on your flight, you will be presenting yourself to the immigration officials in Germany. I can't imagine what you'd have to do, or know, to actually be allowed out of the airport. You'd be sent back to Canada in all likely hood. I wish I had better news for you. You could have a slim chance if you use your fathers connections and if your flying directly onto a military base.
